How Business is Like Stocks, Credit and College Football
In life, comparison is inevitable. In football, Ohio State’s team is compared to Louisiana State’s team. In credit, lenders need to make the decision of which candidate poses the least risk. Should they lend to one person or the other? Stocks are no different.
The strength of investment in a company is judged by its growth or loss in comparison to similar stocks. Much in the same way, customers and businesses are compared to one another.
What is important to remember is that companies aren’t better or worse than each other, just different, and the customer needs to know why those differences deserve their patronage.
