Episode # 6 Liability Insurance (Language of Business)
Insurance in itself is a system that protects those who own a policy against future liabilities. General liability insurance basically covers physical damage that could be done to your business’s property by a customer or employee. Sometimes, it can be used for things such as product defects and lawsuits, as well.
The best way to protect yourself is to expect the unexpected; if you are engaged in any type of business at all, you should have insurance. That way, should something happen, you will have paid into having the problem solved over a series of months as opposed to needing to pay it all up front.
